Business-to-business cleaning & facility support

Different industries. Different demands. One customized cleaning plan.

A busy restaurant kitchen, a manufacturing facility and a client-facing office should never receive the same cookie-cutter cleaning program. Northern Lights Cleaning develops practical, documented services for each property's surfaces, operating hours, access rules, service priorities and budget.

Ecolab products, SDS & facility safety

Cleaning products should match the site, not the sales pitch.

We can propose Ecolab cleaning products for approved surfaces when suitable for the facility. Before work, we review applicable product labels, the manufacturer's Safety Data Sheets (SDS), material compatibility, dilution and PPE requirements with the site contact. The specific product list depends on the agreed scope; not every listed product is used at every client site.

Manufacturer SDS access

Look up the current manufacturer SDS for a specified Ecolab chemical and ask us which products are proposed for your building.

Inspection-readiness resources

Guidance for moisture, visible mildew, contaminants, dust, grease, slips, facility checklists and reporting. Routine janitorial does not equal licensed hazard remediation.

Operational boundaries

We do not claim licensed mold remediation, hazardous-material abatement, regulated cleanroom certification, exhaust-duct fire-system services or guaranteed inspection results.

Built around your site's requirements

Coordinate restricted rooms, access permissions, after-hours windows, facility-required PPE, documentation and escalation contacts in advance.

A process clients can manage

Walkthrough. Written scope. Consistent service. Follow-through.

1. Listen & inspect

Review the spaces, traffic, recurring challenges, surfaces and any hazards needing separate attention.

2. Propose a custom program

Set task lists, frequencies, staffing windows, approved chemicals, exclusions and a quoted price.

3. Coordinate operations

Confirm site contacts, keys, access hours, quality checks, supply responsibilities and issue-reporting steps.

4. Maintain accountability

Track scheduled tasks, note out-of-scope issues, and agree on follow-ups and any extra projects before adding work.

OUR INDUSTRIES

Commercial cleaning built around you

Every facility has its own standards, schedules and first impressions to protect. We tailor cleaning to your industry, operating hours and the places people notice first.

RESTAURANTS

Inspection-ready presentation

We help restaurant teams prepare for routine inspections with clean dining areas, restrooms, entrances, floors and approved back-of-house grease removal. Our work follows site requirements and product labels; it supports your food-safety plan without replacing regulatory compliance or guaranteeing inspection results.

REAL ESTATE

Show-ready & sale-ready

We help realtors, landlords and property managers present show-ready, sale-ready and move-in-ready spaces. Listing, vacant-suite, turnover and common-area cleaning can include floors, glass, fixtures, entrances and restrooms. We plan around photography, tours, handoffs and closing deadlines so the property is welcoming when it matters.

OFFICES & RETAIL

Client-ready workplaces

We clean offices, conference rooms, retail spaces and customer-facing facilities so your team can welcome clients confidently. Recurring janitorial, restrooms, glass, floor care, daytime touch-ups and after-hours schedules keep high-visibility spaces inviting, orderly and meeting-ready.

MORE FACILITIES WE SUPPORT

From manufacturing employee areas to shared commercial spaces, we coordinate approved work zones, building access, safety expectations, supplies and schedule during your free walkthrough.

MANUFACTURING & WAREHOUSES

Production-aware cleaning

Scheduled cleaning for offices, restrooms, breakrooms, entrances and approved shared areas. We review plant access, PPE, shift changes, traffic and chemical requirements. Production and cleanroom work require a separately approved scope and qualification review.

DAY PORTER & COMMON AREAS

Visible daytime care

Keep lobbies, hallways, restrooms, elevators, leasing offices and amenities welcoming between deep cleans. We offer daytime touch-ups, trash removal, restroom checks, approved restocking and rapid reporting of maintenance or cleaning concerns. Property managers can request optional two-way radio contact.

ECOLAB & CHEMICAL SAFETY

Products & SDS access

We use site-selected professional Ecolab products, including appropriate surface, glass, floor and degreasing cleaners, and approved disinfectants where specified. Product selection, manufacturer labels, dilution, PPE and contact times are reviewed for each facility. We share proposed chemical lists and current manufacturer SDS documents on request.

Manufacturing housekeeping is more than appearance. Facility-specific cleaning can support contamination controls, fire prevention programs, safe access and efficient daily workflow. We follow the approved cleaning scope and safety procedures for each site.

Contamination control

Separate tools, approved products and agreed cleaning routes help limit transfer of dirt or residue between work areas. Specialized production and cleanroom work requires separate authorization.

Dust and fire awareness

OSHA emphasizes housekeeping in combustible-dust safety. We flag unusual accumulations and follow site protocols. Hazardous or combustible dust removal requires approved methods, equipment and qualified staff.

Uninterrupted workflow

Cleaning around shifts, deliveries, walkways and shared spaces supports an orderly working environment. We coordinate access and report spills or obstructions quickly to site management.

Cleanliness is about health, safety and first impressions. Customers notice entrances, floors and restrooms. Staff depend on orderly shared spaces. These figures provide context, not promised outcomes of a cleaning contract.

48 million

CDC estimates 48 million people in the U.S. get sick from foodborne illness each year. Cleaning supports facility hygiene but cannot replace food-safety controls. Source: CDC, Facts About Food Poisoning (2025).

23-40%

CDC says community handwashing education can reduce diarrheal illness by 23-40%. Clean, stocked restrooms support proper hygiene. This is not a promised janitorial outcome. Source: CDC, Handwashing Facts.
